There are three sizes in the cream charger range: 660g, 3.3L and 4.4L. The 660g cylinder is also listed as 1.1L — the same vessel described two ways. 660g is the weight of gas inside; 1.1L is the water capacity of the body holding it.

The 4.4L holds 50% more gas than the 3.3L. Treat those cartridge figures as gas-content equivalents, not guaranteed serve counts — no cylinder empties completely through a regulator.
Why does temperature matter so much?
Because pressure inside a sealed cylinder rises with temperature, and nothing about the vessel gives way to absorb it.
